Our Secondary students are back from their 3 day/2 night camping trip to Camp Delany. Feedback from the Jags that it was a great trip. Many thanks to our staff who planned and chaperoned the trip!

Easton School is Hiring! Due to the retirement of Mrs. Todd, we are in need of a Full-Time Paraeducator for next year. In addition, after several years without one, we are looking for a Part-Time Music Teacher. The teaching position is flexible but will include classes at the elementary and secondary levels. Lastly, we need Bus Drivers. Part-time and substitute Bus Drivers are needed to continue supporting the opportunities we want to offer our students, including field trips, sports, and day-to-day pick-up and drop-off. If you are looking for an awesome part-time position, please consider serving as a part-time Bus Driver for Easton. The district will pay for any and all CDL-related training costs. The Dentist is coming to Easton School on May 2nd. A State licensed dentist will provide check-ups, teeth cleaning, x-rays and fillings as needed to students who sign up. Permission slips are in the office and can also be found online at www.MySchoolDentist.com. Please sign your student up by Friday, April 12th.

Because we are on Spring Break next week, it was time for a little fun at Easton today! Students participated in a brand new, completely fake, Flood Drill. They were great sports and we are fully prepared for our next flood! Happy (early) April Fools' Day!! 💐💐

A new bus was added to the Easton fleet on Friday!

The main component of our Easton Environment Research Project was installed this week. A “Polludrone” has been installed on the back side of the building above the Art room. This was part of the equipment purchased from the Outdoor Education grant awarded earlier this Fall. The Polludrone is a versatile air quality monitor that measures particulate matter, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrous oxide, and hydrogen sulfide, along with ambient noise, light, UV, temperature, rainfall, wind speed, and humidity. Once fully installed and programmed, we will add all the data collected to the website(real-time) for samples for the research project but also as an ongoing weather station for the school.
