Jag Family:
We have multiple improvement projects and work being done at the school right now!
1. Sports Court: Our sports court is receiving its third of, I believe, five coats of resurfacing material. Basketball standards are up(no hoops yet), and court striping will begin soon.
2. Security Updages: Our east-facing classrooms now have Easton-themed window coverings and interior deadbolt locks.
3. Painting: Our maintenance team will do exterior paint touch-ups and add parking lot strips.
4. Athletic Record Boards: Several athletic record boards will be installed on campus. Thanks to Mr. Hickman and Mr. Aceves for this idea and inspiration.
5. Commons Mural: Last year, our ASB and Jag Leadership students designed a mural that a local artist will complete in the Student Commons at the end of August. Their design is awesome and will be a colorful addition to the space.
Great things are going on at Easton.

Hello Jag Community:
Quick update on our staffing here at the school.
Our new School Counselor is Mrs. Sadie Kline. Sadie earned her Bachelor's degree at CWU and her Master's at UPS. After several years working in various positions in the Tacoma School District, Mrs. Kline and her husband are thrilled to be back in Kittitas Valley. Please welcome Mrs. Kline to the Jag Family!
Also, we have a couple of familiar faces who will be in new roles at the school. Mrs. Paula Burton will take over for Mrs. Anderson as our new 4th/5th grade teacher is in the elementary wing. Mrs. Burton completed her student teaching here at Easton and was currently serving as our middle-level English/Language Arts teacher.
Lastly, Mr. Nate Aceves will replace Mrs. Burton as our middle-level ELA teacher in addition to his other duties at the school.
We have a great staff team here at Easton.
Go Jags!

Help us spread the word!
Easton School is seeking a full-time School Counselor to join the team.
We have great students and a great staff.

Congratulations to Class of 2024. We wish you all the best!Thank you to friends and family who attended our ceremony.

I am sharing the news that our school counselor, Joe Bufi, has accepted a position with the Ellensburg School District. This was not an easy decision for Mr. Bufi as he loves Easton but after three years he is moving on to be closer to home.
Our School Counselor position is now open, and we are hopeful we will have a good selection of quality candidates. If you know of a school counselor who would like to work in a great district, with great students with very competitive salary(we are at or near the top for the county) please direct them to our website at www.easton.wednet.edu. Mr. Bufi has committed to working with his replacement at Easton over the Summer to ensure there is a smooth transition of services. Please join us in wishing Mr. Bufi all the best.
