Dear Easton School District Community,

The Easton School Board is excited to welcome Ms. Carrie Cotter as the newest member of the Board.

Carrie has been appointed to fill the board position previously held by Mr. Phil Meehan and will serve the remainder of the current term, which expires in November 2027.

Ms. Cotter is an Easton parent and already an active member of our school community. She knows firsthand what makes our school special and brings a genuine commitment to the students, families, and staff of Easton.

The Easton School Board interviewed Ms. Cotter during its July 2026 School Board meeting, and we are grateful for her willingness to take on this important responsibility. Serving on a school board requires time, thoughtfulness, and a commitment to doing what is best for students, and we appreciate Carrie's willingness to serve the community in this role.

The Board would also like to extend its appreciation to Phil Meehan for his years of service, leadership, and dedication to the Easton School District. We are grateful for the time and care he has given to our students, staff, and community.

Please join us in giving Carrie a warm Easton welcome to the School Board. The Board looks forward to working alongside her as we come together to support our kids and our school.
