Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in the recent school levy election.
The results show that the replacement EP&O (operating levy) was approved by voters, while the Capital Levy for gym improvements was close, but did not meet the 50% approval threshold. We are thrilled to continue delivering programs and student support funded by the EP&O levy at Easton.
The EP&O replacement levy helps us maintain current student programs, staffing, and daily operations across our school. The capital levy was intended to fund improvements to the gymnasium, which is our most-used space on campus. These improvements included seating, flooring, scoreboards, and other items.
At the next Easton School Board meeting, the Board will:
Discuss the levy election
Provide direction to the Superintendent regarding next steps
Listen to any community feedback and questions
Easton School District remains committed to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and focus on what’s best for our students and community.
