During the October 2025 Easton School Board meeting, the School Board voted to place the renewal of our current Educational Program and Operations(EP&O) levy, along with a Capital Projects Levy to fund improvements of the Easton gymnasium, on the February 2026 ballot.
The Easton Gym is the most used space on campus. The gym improvements will include removing and installing a new gym floor, replacing the bleachers, installing a new scoreboard, and several other gym upgrades.
Of the 289 school districts that have school levies, Easton has the lowest school levy rate in the state at $.20 per thousand of assessed property value. With the passage of both school levies, Easton's levy rate would increase to $.49 per thousand would remain the lowest in Kittitas County
