Concerned parents, Superintendent Tim Berndt, John Jensen and Jen Phillips met with representatives of Kittitas County to talk about safety for students boarding Easton School Buses on Snoqualmie Pass. All agreed the students needed safer access to buses with protection from the elements.
In early December, a new Bus Shelter was built at Hyak on Snoqualmie Pass by the Kittitas County Public Works crew. The Easton School District, the School Board, and parents thank the public works department for creating the shelter on skids, greatly improving the safety of the school children who board the bus there.
